The Safety Day is a key event on our company’s Safety agenda. The meeting was attended by approximately 40 people including warehouse workers and employees from all the company’s sites.

The day is organized in collaboration with the BBS (Behavior Based Safety) instructors from the Bertschi Group headquarters. This year, attention was focused not only on issues concerning safety at work but also on issues concerning respect for the environment and on the application of the OCS program (Operation Clean Sweep – www.opcleansweep.eu)

The OCS program has the objective of “Zero Pellet Loss”. The objective is achieved by introducing actions, including training and control of operations, aimed at reducing the amount of losses and spills of pellets into the environment.

The practical part of the day was equally important. The BBS instructors carried out practical tests on working at heights and on falling objects from above. The meeting was also an opportunity to share opinions and suggestions in order to always maintain the highest possible level of safety on work sites.
